Zdeněk Chalabala

Zdeněk Chalabala was a Czech conductor who began his career in the early 20th century, specialising in opera and orchestral conducting within Czechoslovakia's musical institutions. He worked extensively with Czech operatic repertoire and 20th-century works, conducting in major Czech theatres and performing pieces by composers such as Leoš Janáček and Bedřich Smetana.
