Steve Hogarth is an English singer-songwriter from Kendal, Cumbria, who began his professional career in the early 1980s and became the lead vocalist of the rock band Marillion in 1989, performing across progressive rock, art rock and pop-rock genres. His musical style combines emotive, theatrical vocals with atmospheric arrangements and has evolved through solo projects and work with Marillion from 1980s neo-progressive rock into more experimental, electronic and singer-songwriter territories within the British progressive music scene.
