Garrison Keillor

Garrison Keillor is an American radio presenter, storyteller and writer from Anoka, Minnesota, who began his career in public radio in the late 1960s and created the radio variety programme A Prairie Home Companion, which blended folk music and comedic storytelling. His work combined traditional folk repertoire and original songs with monologue storytelling and sketches, shaping the format of American public radio variety programmes and contributing to the wider presence of spoken-word and musical storytelling in contemporary media.
