Mark O’Connor

Mark O’Connor (born 1961 in Seattle) is an American violinist, fiddler, guitarist and composer whose work spans bluegrass, country, jazz, classical and Americana, integrating American folk traditions into concert and chamber music. He has written orchestral and chamber pieces, recorded solo and collaborative albums, and developed the O’Connor Method for string teaching.
