Le Poème Harmonique

Le Poème Harmonique are a French early-music ensemble formed in Paris in 1998 that specialises in baroque and seventeenth-century repertoire. They perform using historically informed techniques and period instruments, often staging theatrical programmes that reconstruct forgotten operas, airs de cour and other vocal music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras to explore performance practice and historical context.
