Josef Hellmesberger, Jr.

Josef Hellmesberger Jr. (1855–1907) was an Austrian classical violinist, conductor and teacher from Vienna who was active in the late 19th century. Working within the Romantic-era classical tradition, he performed chamber and orchestral repertoire, held positions in Viennese musical institutions and taught at the Vienna Conservatory while maintaining involvement in chamber music practice.
