Johannes Kalitzke

Johannes Kalitzke is a German composer and conductor who began his career in the late 1970s and is principally associated with contemporary classical music and opera. His work explores complex modernist textures, extended instrumental and vocal techniques and the integration of live electronic processing, and he has contributed to the development of contemporary opera and ensemble repertoire in Germany and beyond.
