Milan Turković

Milan Turković is a Croatian-born Austrian bassoonist and contrabassoonist who began his career in the mid-20th century after studies in Zagreb and Vienna, working primarily in the classical orchestral and chamber-music spheres. His repertoire encompasses standard classical works and contemporary commissions with a particular focus on chamber music and solo bassoon literature, and he has participated in recordings and teaching that contributed to the instrument's presence in Central European musical life.
