Gintaras Rinkevičius

Gintaras Rinkevičius is a Lithuanian conductor who founded the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra in 1988 and began his career in the 1980s, specialising in orchestral and operatic repertoire. His repertoire spans standard symphonic and operatic works alongside contemporary and Lithuanian compositions, and he has been active in shaping Lithuania’s classical-music landscape through founding ensembles and directing productions.
