John Greaves

John Greaves is an English bassist, composer and singer who began his career in the early 1970s within the Canterbury scene and European avant-garde progressive rock circles. His music blends progressive rock, jazz and contemporary classical influences, developing from band-based experimental rock into solo work and compositions for voice and chamber ensembles while remaining linked to the experimental and Canterbury music communities.
