Myroslav Skoryk

Мирослав Скорик was a Ukrainian composer born in Lviv in 1938 who began his career in the late 1950s and worked across contemporary classical and film music. His music blends modernist techniques with Ukrainian folk motifs, encompassing symphonic, chamber, choral and cinematic works and evolving from early avant-garde experiments to later compositions that frequently engage national themes and liturgical colours.
