Gianluca Petrella

Gianluca Petrella is an Italian jazz trombonist from Bari who began his professional career in the 1990s and has been active in contemporary and avant-garde jazz circles. He blends traditional trombone technique with free improvisation, electronic processing and compositional experimentation, performing in small ensembles and larger experimental projects that have contributed to the development of modern European jazz.
