Thee Headcoatees
Thee Headcoatees are an English all-female garage rock and punk-influenced band formed in the Medway area of Kent in 1991 as part of the local DIY scene. Their sound fused 1960s girl-group harmonies and R&B-tinged pop with raw, lo-fi garage punk aesthetics, and throughout the 1990s they released several singles and albums while remaining closely linked to the Medway scene's back-to-basics ethos.
