Lotta Wennäkoski

Lotta Wennäkoski is a Finnish composer born in Helsinki who began her career after studies at the Sibelius Academy and abroad, working primarily in contemporary classical music. Her work explores timbre, texture and instrumental colour through orchestral, chamber and vocal pieces that often use extended techniques and subtle electronics, and it is associated with contemporary Finnish classical practice.
