Die 12 Cellisten der Berliner Philharmoniker are a German cello ensemble formed in Berlin by members of the Berlin Philharmonic, specialising in classical and chamber repertoire arranged for multiple cellos. Their programme ranges from baroque and romantic transcriptions to contemporary commissions and arrangements of folk and popular music, and the group has contributed to expanding the cello-ensemble repertoire through recordings and international performances.
