Glenn Spearman

Glenn Spearman was an American free jazz saxophonist who began his career in the late 1960s, working primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and later performing and recording in Europe. His music emphasised extended, intense improvisation rooted in the avant-garde and spiritual jazz traditions, and over his career he expanded from small-group free improvisation to larger ensemble and orchestral contexts within the experimental jazz community.
