Vilém Tauský

Vilém Tauský was a Czech-born conductor and composer from Prague who trained and began his career in Czechoslovakia before relocating to Britain in the late 1930s, working primarily in classical and operatic repertoire. He advocated Czech repertoire and worked extensively in opera, choral and orchestral conducting, contributing to mid-20th-century British musical life through performances, broadcasts and teaching.
