Zsolt Durkó

Zsolt Durkó was a Hungarian composer who began his career in the mid-20th century and worked primarily in contemporary classical music. His output included orchestral, chamber and choral works that combined modernist techniques with folk-inspired motifs and a focus on timbral colour and rhythmic vitality, and he also contributed to Hungarian contemporary music as a teacher and organiser.
