Désiré‐Émile Inghelbrecht

Désiré-Émile Inghelbrecht was a French conductor and composer born in Paris in 1880 who began his professional career in the early 20th century, working primarily in orchestral, operatic and ballet contexts. He specialised in French repertoire, championing contemporary composers of his time and contributing compositions and arrangements for ballet and theatre while his programming and conducting reflected evolving French musical tastes through the first half of the 20th century.
