Tofiq Quliyev

Tofiq Quliyev was an Azerbaijani composer, pianist and conductor who began his career in the mid-20th century, working across classical, film and popular music genres. He blended Azerbaijani folk melodies with Soviet-era classical and popular forms, composing film scores, songs and orchestral pieces that remain part of Azerbaijan's musical repertoire and cultural life.
