The Mountain Goats

The Mountain Goats are an American band formed in 1991 in Claremont, California, that evolved from lo-fi home recordings to fuller studio production. Their music spans indie folk, folk rock and indie rock, and frequently employs narrative lyricism with recurring themes of exile, identity and personal struggle.
