Gen Ken Montgomery
Gen Ken Montgomery is an American experimental sound artist and outsider electronic musician from Detroit who began producing tape-based and collage work in the late 1970s, aligning with noise, psychedelic and musique concrète traditions. His practice emphasises tape manipulation, home-built electronics and ritualised performance, later extending into multimedia installations and contributing to underground noise and psychedelic improvisation communities.
