Bob Berg

Bob Berg was an American jazz saxophonist from Brooklyn, New York, who began his professional career in the early 1970s and worked primarily in post-bop, hard bop and jazz fusion. His playing combined a robust, lyrical tone with post-bop improvisational language and fusion-era electric textures, and his recorded work showed an evolution towards integrating contemporary rhythms and electric instrumentation while retaining melodic and harmonic complexity.
