    Carla Olson is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who began her career in the late 1970s as leader of the roots-rock band the Textones and has worked across rock, roots and Americana genres. Her music blends rock, country, blues and traditional American songcraft, and over subsequent decades she has released solo and band recordings, produced other artists and contributed to the roots/Americana scene with a focus on vintage influences and songwriting.
