Sven-Åke Johansson

Sven-Åke Johansson is a Swedish drummer, percussionist and composer who began his career in the 1960s and became associated with the European free jazz and free improvisation scenes. His musical approach emphasises improvisation and extended percussion techniques, and over the course of his career he has expanded into composition, sound art and multi-disciplinary projects connected to the European avant-garde.
