Grace Williams

Grace Williams was a Welsh composer born in 1906 who began her career in the early 20th century, studying and working in Britain and specialising in classical and orchestral composition. Her music blends elements of Welsh folk melodies and twentieth-century orchestral techniques, and across her career she wrote works for orchestra, choir and soloists that played a role in twentieth-century Welsh musical culture.
