Emmet Cohen

Emmet Cohen is an American jazz pianist and bandleader who emerged from the U.S. jazz scene after studies in Miami and New York and began his professional recording and touring career in the 2010s. Rooted in swing and bebop, his small-group trio work combines modern harmonic language and rhythmic drive with a strong engagement with the jazz repertoire and educational and livestreaming initiatives that have connected his music to wider audiences.
