Milt Buckner
Milt Buckner was an American jazz pianist and organist from St. Louis who began his professional career in the 1930s, working with big bands and as a recording and touring musician. Known for developing the 'locked-hands' block chord technique and for pioneering the use of the Hammond organ in jazz, his style bridged swing and early rhythm and blues and influenced later keyboard players.
