Choir of York Minster

The Choir of York Minster is the resident cathedral choir of York Minster in York, England, with roots in the medieval period and a continuous tradition of Anglican church music supporting the cathedral's daily services. Specialising in Anglican liturgical repertoire—including plainsong, sacred polyphony and cathedral anthems—the choir's musical practice has evolved to encompass historical performance approaches alongside contemporary compositions and a programme of services, broadcasts and tours within the Anglican choral tradition.
