Ralph Carney
Ralph Carney was an American multi-instrumentalist and composer from Akron, Ohio, who began his career in the 1970s as a member of the experimental/new wave group Tin Huey. He frequently played saxophones, clarinets and homemade reed instruments, and his output spanned experimental rock, avant-garde jazz and soundtrack work, including solo albums and collaborations that explored instrumental, found-sound and improvisational textures.
