Phillip Greenlief

Phillip Greenlief is an American saxophonist based in San Francisco who emerged in the late 20th century as part of the free improvisation and avant-garde jazz scenes. His practice emphasises extended techniques, spontaneous group improvisation and cross-disciplinary collaboration, and his work has been associated with the West Coast improvised-music community and experimental performance practices.
