The Bombastic Meatbats are an American instrumental funk and rock ensemble formed in Los Angeles in 2007 as a side project by established musicians from the local music scene. They draw on funk, jazz and rock influences to create groove-driven, improvisational instrumentals and have focused on tight ensemble playing and live performances within club and festival circuits.
