Einar Englund

Einar Englund was a Finnish composer born in Helsinki who began his career in the mid-20th century, working across orchestral, choral and film music within a classical tradition. His music blends neo-classical structures with expressive, often sombre themes influenced by wartime experience, while his later output included lighter textures and extensive film scoring that played a part in Finland's post-war cultural life.
