Alex Cline

Alex Cline is an American percussionist and drummer from Los Angeles who began his career on the city’s jazz and improvised-music scene in the late 1970s, working across jazz, avant-garde and contemporary improvised genres. He blends composed and freely improvised forms with a focus on textural percussion, ensemble composition and occasional electronics, contributing to the development of the Los Angeles avant-garde and contemporary jazz communities.
