Lydia Lunch

Lydia Lunch is an American singer, poet and actress who emerged from the late-1970s New York no wave scene, beginning her career in the downtown art and music underground and working across post-punk, experimental rock and spoken-word genres. Her work blends abrasive guitar, dissonant arrangements and confrontational spoken-word performance, and she has produced solo releases, collaborations and multimedia projects that intersect with underground punk, noise and alternative art scenes.
