Simón Bolívar String Quartet

The Simón Bolívar String Quartet are a Venezuelan string quartet formed within the El Sistema youth music programme, originating in Caracas and performing within the classical chamber-music tradition. They perform standard classical chamber repertoire alongside contemporary Latin American works and have been associated with El Sistema's emphasis on music education and social development.
