Hubert Laws

Hubert Laws is an American flautist from Houston, Texas, who began his professional career in the 1960s and has worked at the intersection of jazz, classical and soul-influenced popular music. Combining classical technique with jazz improvisation, he recorded both classical repertoire and jazz standards and worked extensively as a studio musician on crossover and fusion projects.
