Renée Chemet

Renée Chemet was a French violinist who began her performing career in the early 20th century and worked primarily within the classical repertoire. She toured internationally and made some of the early commercial recordings of violin repertoire, combining salon and concerto programmes that reflected both popular and art-music contexts of her era.
