Brian Current

Brian Current is a Canadian composer and conductor working primarily in contemporary classical music, active from the late 20th century into the 21st century. His output spans orchestral, chamber and operatic works, often characterised by a blend of lyrical gestures and modernist textures, and he has been involved in commissioning, performance and music leadership within Canadian contemporary music circles.
