Jay Anderson

Jay Anderson is an American jazz double bassist from Eureka, California, who began his professional career in the late 1970s and established himself in New York's jazz scene. Working across post-bop, contemporary and fusion settings, he has performed extensively as a sideman and leader in studio recordings and touring ensembles, operating in both acoustic and electric contexts within the American and international jazz scenes.
