Ludwig August Lebrun

Ludwig August Lebrun was a German oboist and composer born in Mannheim in 1752 who was active during the Classical era as a soloist and orchestral player. Associated with the Mannheim school, his output includes oboe concertos and chamber pieces that combine lyrical wind writing with the orchestral dynamism and formal clarity characteristic of late 18th-century Classical music.
