Friedrich Cerha

Friedrich Cerha was an Austrian composer and conductor, born in Vienna in 1926, who began his career in the post-war era and worked primarily in contemporary classical music. He worked with avant-garde and serial techniques, completed modernist works for performance, and promoted new music through the founding of ensembles, commissions and teaching.
