Cappella Mediterranea

Cappella Mediterranea is a European early-music ensemble formed in the early 2000s that specialises in Baroque and pre-Classical repertoire with a particular emphasis on Mediterranean and Iberian traditions. Working within historically informed performance practices, the group explores cross-cultural connections between European, Iberian and Latin American baroque music and has expanded its programme through collaborations, staged projects and recordings that highlight overlooked sacred and theatrical works.
