Sándor Kónya

Sándor Kónya was a Hungarian operatic tenor from Kecskemét who began his professional career in the mid-1940s and worked principally in the lyric-dramatic opera repertoire. His roles spanned Italian and German opera, and over his career he moved from lighter lyric parts into more dramatic repertoire while appearing across European opera houses and on recordings.
