María Cristina Kiehr

María Cristina Kiehr is an Argentine soprano from Buenos Aires who built her career specialising in early music and Baroque repertoire, emerging in the 1980s within the historically informed performance movement. Her work focuses on dramatic early Baroque vocal repertoire and historically informed interpretations, with a discography centred on seventeenth-century Italian and Spanish music and performances across European early-music venues.
