Sebastián de Vivanco
Sebastián de Vivanco was a Spanish Renaissance composer and cleric active from the late 16th to the early 17th century, working principally in cathedral musical establishments in Spain. His output is centred on sacred polyphony — including masses, motets and settings of the Magnificat — marked by contrapuntal clarity and modal harmonic practice that places him within the Iberian cathedral tradition of the period.
