Cyril Smith

Cyril Smith was an English jazz pianist born in 1909 who began his professional career in the late 1920s and became associated with boogie-woogie, stride and traditional jazz. He was active on radio, in recordings and in small-group settings, helping to popularise boogie-woogie in Britain while his playing ranged from solo repertoire to accompaniment across several decades.
