Martin Rummel

Martin Rummel is an Austrian cellist and educator who began his professional career in the 1990s, specialising in classical and chamber music with an interest in historically informed performance. His career has encompassed solo recordings, teaching posts and festival programme work that focus on cello repertoire from the Baroque to contemporary periods, including transcriptions and commissioning of new works within the German-speaking cultural context.
