Booker T. & the MG’s

Booker T. & the MG's are an American instrumental R&B, soul and funk band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1962. Their tight, organ-driven instrumental arrangements and role as the house band for Stax Records helped define the Memphis soul sound through a blend of R&B, soul and funk featuring Hammond organ, guitar, bass and drums.
