George Kahumoku, Jr.

George Kahumoku Jr. is a Hawaiian slack-key guitarist and singer from Maui who began his musical career in the late 20th century, working within Hawaiian folk traditions and the slack-key guitar genre. Blending traditional slack-key techniques with elements of folk and country, his music emphasises instrumental storytelling and he has been active in teaching and promoting Hawaiian music through workshops and local events.
